Tom organized members into his local giving them hope for a brighter future.  He worked with contractors, businesses, non-profits and elected officials in promoting the important work union members do that usually goes unnoticed as a member of the labor-management committee and trustee with the Workforce Investment Board.  Coordinating efforts to assist Summer Youth Electrical Camps, Habitat for Humanity and humane shelters, he understands the importance of giving back to the community and giving back to the union.
